The state of Virginia is a state that possesses a
range of natural beauties, ranging from pristine beaches and wetlands to
magnificent mountains and valleys. In addition to its natural beauty, Virginia
has many other activities to see and do. This article will list several of

1.) Busch Gardens
Take a step across the Atlantic and feel like you have landed in Europe with Williamsburg’s
Busch Gardens. This amusement part has seven different sections, each dedicated
to a separate European country. Currently, Busch Gardens is home to the tallest
dive coaster in the world, the Griffon.
2.) Udvar Hazy
Part of the Smithsonian National Museum, Udvar Hazy is located in
Chantilly,
which is near Washington DC. This national air and space museum is home to some
amazing pieces of aviation such as the Concord, a Blackbird, World War II
fighter planes and even a space shuttle.
3.) Williamsburg
Close to Busch Gardens, the historical town of Williamsburg will take its
visitors back in time. The town has embraced its cultural heritage and allows
for people to experience what colonial life would have been like in America.
4.) Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello
The third president of the United States mountaintop estate is home to his
magnificent house, gardens and plantation. The estate, located in
Charlottesville, has maintained much of the inventions and letters of
Jefferson.
5.) Arlington National Cemetery
This somber, yet stunning, memorial is situated along the Potomac River in
Arlington,
right across from Washington DC. The memorial reminds the visitor of the number
of individuals who have died to make the United States the country that it is.
Activities are endless in the state of Virginia. There are museums, amusement
parks and historical tours. There is something to be seen by any visitor, no
